Initially banned in the U.S. and Britain. The content is too blunt about sex talk, things of that epoch is still taboo. At the end of the 1950s, the court did not assess this novel as a pornografis. Later, wide screen edition of this novel to win the Cup Cesar 2007 - Oscar awards  France version as the best film.
Lady Chatterley's Lover was first printed in private by the author in 1928 in Florence, Italy.
