Miyamoto Musashi has aspire to be real samurai. In the year 1600 which full of upheaval, he plunge into Sekigahara battle, without realize what he already did. After the battle was ended, he found himself lying lost and injured in the middle of thousands of body that sprawled. On the way home, he was doing a rash action that makes him fugitive until a Zen monk submission him with successful.
Otsu, a beautiful lady who adore him trying to exempt Musashi from his punishment, but Musashi caught again. During the three years he must undergo life-in, and at time-period he use to learn the classic works of Japanese and Chinese. Once he was free, he refused the samurai position. During the next few years, he was pursuing his aspire ideals  with full determination to follow the sword way, and become a real samurai.
Finally he understands that the sword way is not only to find the target to try his strength. He continues to hone his skills, learn from nature and discipline himself to be sincere man. He was a hero who does not want to show-up himself to those whose lives he has touched or has touched himself.
The peak testing for him when he had to fight against Sasaki Kojiro, his serous rival which is still very young and strong. They will compete their ability, and Musashi want to prove that the strength and skills are not the only one who can be relied upon to determine the victory.

I have targeted this book to be in my to-read list, however its price is still expensive. But reading your review today has encouraged me to spend a little bit more for a much more intriguing book, Musashi. I hope it worth it! Thanks for the beautiful review!
